State Retirement/ESI

Important Date: if you are retiring and coming back to work!

February 15th - by this date, the district employee who desires to return the following school year as a, newly State of Arizona retired employee, must complete and submit the "Intent To Contract" form by February 15th of the school year prior to retiring. In addition the employee must complete a job application and interview for the position. Your supervisor will collect your paperwork, interview you and submit the hiring paperwork with their recommendation to the superintendent. You will then be added to the Board Agenda for approval by the Governing Board.

Important Date: if you are already retired, working for the district, and wanting to work in the District for another year!

February 15th - by this date, the district employee who desires to continuing working for the district must submit a memorandum to their immediate supervisor indicating their intent to continue employment under a post-retirement contract.
