St. Johns

We are thrilled to announce that Stephanie Burdick Mouritsen has accepted the high school principal position for school year 2024-2025. Steph is a graduate of St. Johns High School. She has spent the past 8 years as a school administrator in Northern Utah where she worked as an assistant principal in the Davis School District before taking over as the Lead Administrator of Davis Connect Online School for grades K-12. As an administrator, Steph has overseen assessment, curriculum, evaluation, and helped build a robust online program that serves over 7000 students. Steph’s teaching experience includes high school English, Spanish, Communications, and Yearbook. Since 2006, she has also worked concurrently for Weber State University as an adjunct instructor. She holds a Master of Arts in Teaching and a Master of Science in Educational Leadership. Steph has proven to be an excellent communicator and one whose positive, happy nature endears her to those who know her. She and her husband, Hugh, are the parents of 8 children. We are excited to welcome their family to St. Johns and to see all the good they will bring to the high school and the greater community.
