Don't forget that the spring musical opens TONIGHT! You will want to see both casts, so plan to come at least twice during the run!
Our young performers have poured their hearts (and many late-night rehearsals) into this show. Help us keep the magic alive with these gentle reminders:
Arrive on time — because nothing says “I’m invested” like beating the curtain instead of racing it.
Silence your phones completely — no sneaky texts, no flash photos. Your screen glow is basically a tiny spotlight nobody asked for.
Keep quiet during the show — no chatting, no wrapper symphonies. Sound carries in the auditorium faster than gossip in the school hallway.
Stay seated if you can (except at intermission, we promise we won’t judge bathroom emergencies). Just…maybe plan ahead before the quiet monologue hits. And parents, please keep your little adventurers with you—no turning stairwells into jungle gyms, aisles into racetracks, or safety lights into a spontaneous shadow-puppet show. If a child gets loud or restless, please step out to the lobby so the performers and audience can stay immersed. NOTE: All children (8th grade and younger) should be accompanied by an adult or high school family member.
Cheer them on — laugh at the jokes, clap like you mean it (especially after songs), and save the standing ovation for when it really counts. They live for that energy.
No food or drinks — other than a capped water bottle, please.*
Soak it in — your full attention is basically rocket fuel for these kids. They’ll feel it from the stage.
Thanks for being the best audience ever!
*Due to the water fountains in the auditorium currently being out of commission, we are temporarily allowing capped water bottles (with water only) in the auditorium. Please be mindful of the noise and do your best to avoid spills. Other food and drink are not allowed in the auditorium.
