Congrats to next year's class officers. Thank you to everyone who put themselves out there and ran. You are all so important to this school and whether you won or lost, we hope you continue contributing your awesomeness to our culture. We Are One. We'll get the freshmen update sometime tomorrow.

Please be advised that the high school track will be being resprayed and restriped starting Monday, May 13th. The project should last about two weeks, and no one will be able to use the track or football field area during that time.

Last night at our school board meeting, we recognized five of our teachers that will be retiring this year.
Mella Bradshaw (had to miss for the softball game)
Lynette Burdick
Carol Mora
Kileen Smith
Janet Wengert
These five women have dedicated over 100 years of combined service to our district and our schools are better because of them. They have influenced so many young people throughout the years. We will miss them greatly!

SJHS strength and conditioning athletes of the week are Casen Pemberton and Adrian Perea Castillo. These two young men work very hard every day. They've made great strength gains and always have a great attitude.
Way to go guys.

We live in an incredible community that comes out big time to support our athletes.Good luck at state! We're so proud of how you represent our school.

Introducing our 2024-25 Student Council

Parents of Seniors,
As the year comes to an end, we need each Senior to check in with Mr. Johnson. Even after multiple reminders, Seniors are not showing up to check-in so I am imploring you to encourage your Senior to drop by the Career Center today or early next week. As an example of things we need to know: on May 18th we are having an assembly to honor and recognize students for receiving scholarships and for getting accepted into college. The Seniors need to let Mr. Johnson know about where they will be going or they will not be recognized. Besides this example, there are other items that they need to check-in for.
Thank you for your help,
Mr. Palmer
