The City notified residents this afternoon that water will be turned off tomorrow (8am-12pm) for portions of town. We have confirmed with the City that this will NOT affect our schools. Our schools will have water tomorrow and will run as normal.

We are in the process of making decisions on staffing for next year. If you have not enrolled your kindergartener for the 2026-2027 school year, please do! They must be 5 before September 1st, 2026. Please bring in Proof of Residency, Immunization Records, and Birth Certificate.

We are still on the look out for a 2nd grade teacher for the 2026-2027 school year. We also have a Special Education Teacher position open for potentially SJMS or Coronado.
Can you believe it is time to start planning for next year?! Kindergarten registration opens on March 18th at 9am. You can come pick up a packet on that day!
SJUSD is testing its emergency response softwares this afternoon. Please disregard any notifications you may receive. There is NO emergency.
I just wanted to thank parents/guardians for making attendance in school a top priority this year!!! This same time last year we had a 22 students who had already accumulated 18 days or more of absences . Per state law, students should not be missing more than 10% of the school year. With a 180 day school year, students should not be missing more than 18 days. This year so far, we only have 5 students who have missed 18 or more days. Keep up the great work on bringing your students to school! Thank you for your efforts!!!
