We were disappointed in the wording used in this article in relationship to Coach Thomas. Given that our administration was unaware that this article was being written and that we were never reached out to for comment, we wanted to offer a rebuttal. Coach Thomas never quit on our team. Instead, he willingly stepped up when we were in need of an interim coach at the beginning of the season. He then was a critical piece in finding a long-term coach for our football team and then willingly handed the program over to Coach Dimbatt. In every way, he should be praised for what he did for our boys. Our football program would not be where it is today without Coach Thomas’ willingness, humility, and desire to see the program succeed. Thank you Coach Thomas! https://www.wmicentral.com/sports/defense-powers-blue-ridge-past-st-johns/article_3c059496-1d8b-584c-98e5-6ca16acd283c.htm
