CORONADO STAFF SHOUT-OUT: Mrs. Jade Thomas is an outstanding 1:1 aide! She works so well with our special needs population of students. She is patient, kind, dedicated, and encouraging. She helps her student truly see that they are more capable then they think they are. She is always willing to take on more than she needs to and is always willing to pitch in and help! We love Ms. Jade and are so lucky to have her here at Coronado!
I might be a little biased but our Coronado teachers are some of the best of the best! I'd nominate them all myself if I was allowed, unfortunately to get a Silver Apple Award from 3TV, they must be nominated by a parent. If you would like to nominate your child's teacher for the outstanding work they do each and every day, you can pick up an application with all of the details in our front office.
CORONADO STAFF SHOUT-OUT!!! Ms. Susan Moore is such a delight! She serves as one of our 3rd grade teachers. She brings so much joy to her classroom and our staff. She is a dedicated educator who loves learning and loves teaching! She loves her students deeply and works so hard to ensure each of her students are finding academic success. I will never hear the word "Bazooka," without thinking of Ms. Moore!
CORONADO STAFF SHOUT-OUT!!! Mrs. Betha Sandoval serves as one of our amazing and dedicated kindergarten aides. She loves her job, loves the kids, and it shows by her amazing work ethic and positive attitude she brings through those doors every day. She is a great team player, very organized, and on occasion can be found playing a game of "Duck, Duck, Goose" on the playground. We are so lucky to have Ms. Betha! She also really hates pictures and public attention. Sorry about that!

Mrs. Wendy Cameron is our half-day kindergarten teacher. She is just the sweetest. She loves her students so much and strives to make learning fun and engaging for them. Students in her class get to witness quails hatching, plants growing, and they often participate in lots of other fun hands-on activities. She cares deeply for each and every student. We are so lucky to have her!

CORONADO STAFF SHOUT-OUT: This person right here is one of the most self-less hardworking people on our staff. We are so grateful for Colette Lunsford. She is one of our Reading Interventionists. She does a wonderful job teaching our students to read, cleaning up messes in the cafeteria, and filling in where ever needed. We are also lucky enough to have her as one of our dedicated bus drivers!

The Apache County Fair honored one of our amazing and well deserving 1st grade teachers, Mrs. Debbie Wollam, this past weekend. Her bubbly personality, team player attitude, and fun sense of humor made her an easy choice.
