In Financial Literacy, students used beans to create a budget. When their budget was cut by 1/3, they had to figure out where to make budget cuts. This activity gave them insight into their values. Parents, just a caution, several said they would do laundry for free at their parents'.

Want a good laugh? Hand seniors puzzles and a glue stick!
Today they are piecing together puzzles, then unscrambling the letters on the puzzle to name the occupations of the people in the puzzles. This is all leading up to researching different careers and presenting what they see in their future.

We are learning real-life skills while working on skills involving teamwork and reading comprehension. I wish you were here to listen to these conversations! Our students are amazing!

Mrs. Kelley's classes learned about Growth Mindset and how it affects their learning. Students shared their ideas on how they could practice growth mindset on a daily basis.

Who remembers "Shrinky Dinks"? Mrs. Flake's English students set this year's goals high with a single word, and then they got to make a keychain with it! They wrote their single word on a keychain, and then they shrunk them down so they could keep their word with them all year! We can't wait for them to achieve "Legreatness"!
