Last Friday was School Lunch Hero Day; however, we don't serve school meals on Fridays at St. Johns High School., so we wanted to give our nutrition service workers a HUGE shout-out and thank you TODAY for all they do for our students and staff who eat breakfast and/or lunch on our campus!
They have been absolutely amazing to work with this year, adjusting lunches to fit around altered bell schedules, like assemblies, and most of all state testing! They provided (and delivered) lunch boxes for many of our students during testing that were both nutritious and delicious!

Get ready for Monday!! Save this pic to your camera roll, and when you open it up and click on it, it should take you to the form. You'll likely have to have a Gmail account. And for most, a chrome browser works best.

Congratulations!! Thank you to everyone who ran and everyone who voted.

We are so fortunate to have the principals that we do. They put in countless hours loving students and striving to make our schools better. Thank you!

We are so lucky to have Mrs. Mo!

Due to popular demand, our yearbook has sold out! To accommodate everyone's request, we will be doing a one-time reorder. If you did not order a yearbook and would like one, please purchase your yearbook through the High School office by May 9th.

One last reminder to make any modifications you might need to in order to be within the dress code for tonight's prom. You students have been fantastic for the last three dances, keep it up! In the pic, we've highlighted the things that tend to to be the most challenging. Wishing everyone an awesome and fun night.

Shout-out to Mr. Johnson, SJHS Academic Counselor, and Grow AZ for putting together the first annual Nextwave Workforce Expo for all SJHS students!
There were over 20 companies and programs that set up booths all around the campus for the event!
Students met with industry professionals to learn more about what it takes to join the profession, got company swag, and were entered into a prize drawing.

Student Council elections for the 25-26 school year are coming up. If interested, see the information sheet attached and pick up a petition form from Ms Oveson or from the front office. Student body elections are first, then two weeks later, we do class elections. Make sure you read the requirements carefully. The sign-up sheet will be on MsOveson's door starting Monday.

Just a reminder that daily morning announcements can be watched anytime on our SJHS Student Body YouTube channel. Use the attached QR Code for quick access.

Happy Administrative Professionals Day to our frontline heroes, who keep the faculty, staff, students, parents, and administration at St. Johns High School running efficiently! We couldn't do this without them!

A couple of reminders/clarifications for the dress code at Prom. The attached "checklist" is the official dress code, and is what will be followed as far as admittance to the dance is concerned. The second attachment is simply recommendations based on the type of dance. Prom is traditionally formal.
One question we keep getting from the guys (especially since the theme is Cowboy Prom) is, "Are nice jeans okay?"
Yes. Jeans are in compliance with the dress code and you will not be turned away. However, because it's formal, we'd hope that if jeans are worn, they are part of a dressed up ensemble. The same thing applies to footwear.

We hope its a safe and enjoyable holiday!
