SJHS Drama is proud to introduce the 2024 Spring Play......

Update: Due to the accident on Highway 191, we are sending all students who live outside SJ city limits who ride the Sanders bus home today at 3:40pm from the high school. K-6 students will arrive home approximately 1 hour later than they usually do, while 7th-12th grade students should be home around the same time as normal. Our bus will be utilizing a backroad that authorities told us we could use in order to bypass the area where the accident is located.

We are aware of the accident on Highway 191. We are currently working with the authorities to figure out the best way to get students home from school today who live in the affected areas (Sanders Bus Route). For parents of students who live on the Sanders Bus Route, we will keep you posted through direct messaging.

We are sure proud of these girls and their coaches! They took 1st place this past weekend at their 7th grade basketball tournament. Way to go, girls!

Schools are on a normal schedule this morning. All bus pickup locations within St. Johns city limits are on a normal schedule. Bus pickup locations for the Hunt and Sanders bus routes that are outside St. Johns city limits will be on a 2-hour delay.

The SJMS 2024 Spelling Bee was great today! Congratulations to Jarom Tryon (1st), Silas Udall (2nd), Avery Lee (3rd), and all of those who made it into the spelling bee. We are sure grateful for the amazing teachers and staff members at SJMS who make this such a fun tradition each year.

These people keep SJUSD running!* We feel so fortunate to have the bus drivers and bus aides that we do, along with their supervisors, Andy Lunsford and Jennifer Archibald. From early mornings to late nights to traversing weather conditions, our transportation department goes above and beyond to serve the young people of our district. Thank you!
